About Annah
Annah grew up in good ole Gilchrist County. After she earned her high school diploma as a third-generation-Trenton-Tiger, she followed her mothers footsteps to Saint Leo University. While she studied, she worked as a bank teller for Drummond Community Bank in Trenton, FL. Amidst the pandemic, she earned her Bachelors Degree in General Psychology, and a new last name in August of 2020. Her husband Trevor, a fellow Trenton high-graduate and her high-school sweetheart, are happily married and proud parents to two beautiful golden retriever babies: Copper and Moose.

After taking a leap of faith, earning an English K-12 Certification through the Florida Department of Education, and changing careers, Annah began teaching 8th Grade English Language Arts and Intensive Reading at Bell Middle High School, and the next school year joined Chiefland Middle High School in 6th Grade English Language Arts. In a crazy turn of events, the Lord led her away from education in schools and pointed her in the direction of education through the church. She began writing curriculum for a local youth groups' summer camp in 2020, and hasn't stopped writing since.

She likes to say that she's been on lots of "side quests" over the years. She owned and operated a wedding decoration and floral business for 3 years, did bookkeeping for a local small business, and then began her journey here at New Ways. For New Ways, she does everything from buying your favorite snacks to balancing the books, and recently, offering Educational Counseling for elementary students, middle school students, select high school and college level subjects, and guidance and prep for adults working towards their GED.

Annah is passionate about mental health and learning, and loves sweet tea and Jesus with all her heart.
