About Carol Lynn
Carol Lynn spent her older childhood in Gilchrist County, FL. Adopted from foster care at 16 years old, she is highly passionate about the wellbeing of teens and families within the Florida dependency system. She loves to share her story of how God worked in her own life and healing, and is so excited to be part of a ministry and workplace where others also experience restoration through the support of God and His people.

Carol Lynn is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Family, Youth and Community Sciences at the University of Florida. She says that her life was profoundly impacted by a range of professionals who dedicated themselves to protecting children, and that their compassion inspired her to pursue a similar path. She hopes to continue working with at-risk families through New Ways and her other professional experiences, and to attend graduate school for her Masters in Social Work after graduating from UF in 2026.

Carol Lynn loves serving others, a good outdoor adventure, and spending time with her family and two (perfect) bunnies.
